I had big hopes for Spiderman when he was able to enter the MCU, and I was not disappointed.
Picking up right were he left off with the Avengers, we find Peter Parker on very much of an emotional high, and what teen wouldn't be after getting to fight along side the world's greatest heroes in one of the biggest battles ever.
Peter then falls into a slump as he returns to day to day life which isn't qute as exciting as the epic battle he was just involved in. Along comes Tony Stark. Mr. Stark takes Peter under his wing, but not quite as far as Peter would like.
The thing I liked most about this movie is that it was not the typical Peter gets bit, Peter gets his powers, Peter saves the day kind of movie. It was much more of a he's got his skills, now what does he do with them kind of thing.
We also had a more comic book like Peter as far as dialogue was concerned.
I can only hope now that the video game that is on the way follows suit.
