Celebrity Family Feud - Show me Steve Harvey!

Celebrity Family Feud

Let me start by saying, I love game shows. Now with that out of the way, I'll admit that I'm also biased because I've loved Family Feud since the days that Richard Dawson used to sneak kisses all along the panel line.

The Feud however has suffered its ups and downs over the years, especially down during the Louis Anderson and Richard Karen years if you ask me. Luckily for ABC and Fremantle Media, Steve Harvey has brought a whole new life to the franchise.

Besides what Harvey does for the syndicated product, he adds an interesting flair and freely injects his humor into the Celebrity version. Steve never seems too sheepish to put a celeb on the spot for a bad answer or for not being able to come up with something at all.

My one real criticism of the show however is some of the content for a program that promotes itself as family friendly. Not only do the contestants give some racy answers, but the answers displayed on the board could be said to be questionable for the eight o'clock time period.

Overall though it's a good bit of entertainment that you can play along with while having some nostalgia and a good laugh at the same time.

TL;DR
The celebrity version is even better than the syndicated show. It should be more than just a summertime filler but on perhaps a little later than 8pm.
